Why DreamBox: DreamBox is an online site that assists student learning. I chose DreamBox from Dr. Wang's "Week 3 Day 1 T3PP Technologies" instructional media PowerPoint.
What is DreamBox: DreamBox is an online math and reading learning program that allows students to grow this skills and understanding through interactive online lessons. These lessons present content in a creative and gamified manner which enriches student learning.
Use & Complexity level: DreamBox is very easy to use! It's easy to navigate for all users. The site offers various programs in one single online location.
Versatility: This site includes educational resources and lessons for multiple subjects. It allows students to experience different scaffolding techniques, build fluency, pace their learning, and test their knowledge. It connects students with challenging content and check retention. DreamBox can be used to provide students with target supports and instruction. It's very versatile!
Classroom use of DreamBox: This online site is used to further and check student understanding of standard classroom content. It has features that allow students to go through interactive lessons that would allow students K-8 to develop math and reading literacy.
Connection(s): Dreambox connects to all three TLC tiers, Planning, Assessing, and Instruction. Educators can provide students with personalized and paced instruction, as well as check on student progress. DreamBox also lets instructors time clarify students misconceptions and let them ask questions.
