That is Epic: Epic is an online web database that holds over 40,000 sources of reading material for all grade levels. It's an extensive collection of books which eases access to content through digital books, audio books, and learning videos. This tool is utilized within classrooms to assist teachers in providing their student with reading material to challenge them and build literacy skills. It also helps teachers track student progress, facilitate engagement, form good habits, and cultivate a positive relationship with reading.
Use & Complexity level: Epic is very user friendly! It can be used through a variety of different devices. It contains numerous features to ensure student interaction. Educators are able to manage everything through their dashboards and easily navigate instruction through digital lessons.
Versatility: The website is very versatile! It allows students to work through assigned lessons at their own pace, find books that interest students, read independently, engage actively with content, and quiz their knowledge. While allowing teachers to track student progress, assign lessons, and tailor content to match with students individual progress levels.
Classroom use of Epic: This site is used in classrooms all over the country. It's an accessible tool that supports students' individual read and literacy needs. It facilitates an interactive classroom environment with its whole-class collaboration read-alouds and activity features. As well as assists students with building fluency, accuracy, comprehension, and vocabulary furthering their ability to be critical thinkers.
Connection(s): Epic connects to all three TLC tiers; Planning, Assessing, and Instruction. It allows teachers to plan and assign lessons that coincide with standard and class content, while also letting them track and asses student progress through completion results and short online quizzes. Finally, it assists educators with providing direct and targeted instruction to all students in the classroom.

Hello Kimberly, I liked how you mention that it has no cost. I feel like that's important because not everyone can afford getting an extra resource for their child. Epic is nice because if a child doesn't have money to buy a book they can just read one from this free technology. I would definitely encourage many students to use this resource. Good job on the research.
